Bug Description

Could it be possible to define some control points for more than only 2 pictures ?
I often have 1 point in 4 or more images, and maybe it could be faster to define 1 point from one picture to other pictures which contrains the are concerned ?
By selecting the control point you get as images as concerned by this point with the point pre-defined, either in falls or sequencely...
Could that reduce the amount of control points and improve accuracy ?

Thanks for all !

I sometimes stitch a stack of 100 images together, and let me tell you that doing 100 pairs of manual points gets old quick. To make it worse, that only gets you one loop through all of the images, to do all of the possible matches grows with n^2. If there is ANY way that we could have a set of points go across all images, it would be great.

Especially if you're doing HDR panos, you're bound to have at least 6, possibly 12 or more images overlapping at one point.
In the case of 6 images in one spot you need to position at least 6 pairs of points, ideally 20 (each image with each other), in case of 12 images it's 77 already.
If I could give hugin 12 sets of coordinates and it created the 77 pairs(!) of control points for me, that's be a large help already. If it could put that into a single control point spanning the respective images, still better (in case I'll need to edit that point later...).

Not quite what you asked: but the current Hugin trunk allows you to link the roll/pitch/yaw position of photos within a stack without needing to set any control points.

Linking pictures in a stack seems a good thing if the stack is aligned already (requires tripod). If not, it's probably not gonna help much.

By the way: isn't this a duplicate of request No. 1845731?

assuming we can design a usable user interface for this, the only saving is a
few clicks less. In terms of accuracy this does not improve anything compared
to when individual control points pairs are defined between the single images.
