If you do not get a response after running 'hp-makeuri' try running,
snmpwalk -Os -c public -v 1 xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.2.3.9.1.1.7.0
where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is the correct ipaddress of the printer
The output should be similar to the following:
