I tried the driver: HP Officejet Pro 8000 a809 hpijs, 3.9.8.36 (color, 2-sided printing) and it printed a PDF without the broken line on the right side of the page that the HP CUPS 3.9.8 driver added.

The driver: HP Officejet Pro 8000 a809 hpijs, 3.9.8.36 (color, 2-sided printing) also printed to within 5 mm of all sides of the page, so I will use this driver for now.
