@brian_p, I'll have to give up. I've just tried the whole day to make the printer work on my Windows. It was firstly recognized, but as soon as I began to install the drivers, it wasn't seen anymore by the system, exactly as it happened on Ubuntu. This must be a problem with the printer itself, maybe because of the transport when I brought it from my brother's house to mine (8 hours driving). Thanks for your help.
