Hi Maxime

I think what Jeff was looking for was a quick "look see" in a number of
other currencies. That's too general I think. I like your idea better.
Hover over the converted base currency account in the home window and show
the total balance in the foreign currency.

I decided to do some research this time rather than shooting from the hip.
I still have a copy of Quicken 2014 (which I don't use any more) so I
checked, and the account window is in the foreign currency - as you would
expect when downloaded from them using qfx e.g. but the amount spent this
month(year etc.like your circle on the right) is converted to the base
currency and if you run a net worth report, foreign currencies are
converted also. So i still like the idea of the net worth list on tbe left
showing all base currencies.
It looks like updating currencies in Quicken is done when everything is
updated stock prices etc. But I like our simpler method better.
Incidentally when i try to update currencies in HomeBank I get an error.

Update online error
Unacceptable TLS Certificate

Is that a problem at my end?

A Quicken user was asking for each foreign transaction to be calculated at
the rate on that day - like they do with stocks so you could compare the
cost of a item last year say compared to its current price. This would mean
keeping a history of exchange rates. Way too complicated I think. I'm a big
fan of KISS, literally !

Regards

Terry
