Bug Description
I have a Benq Joybook 8100 which has a Intel 82801DB-ICH4 Sound Card. I am running Gutsy Tribe 3
When I boot up ubuntu and reach the login screen, instead of the usual noise I get when it prompts you to enter in a username and password I get a system beep. When I log into ubuntu I get no Log-in Sound at all. However when I log out, the usual logout music plays.
I have no issues with sound once I am logged in and this was not an issue when I previously had Feisty 7.04 installed
Output of tail -2 /proc/asound/
Mixers:
0: Realtek ALC250 rev 2
Also:
cat /etc/asound.conf ~/.asoundrc*
cat: /etc/asound.conf: No such file or directory
cat: /home/matt/
