[Gutsy] Logout sound not playing despite being set up

Bug Description

When logging out from GNOME, the logout sound is not played. Sound card is correctly set up, the logout sound as well. Logging into the system (GNOME) plays the login sound.

Sound card:
SB Audigy 2

System:
Most recent snapshot of Gutsy, obtained by means of ISO from cdimage.ubuntu.com two days ago, with all the recent patches now applied.

I have the same problem. The gdm "drum" sound works well, the login sound works well, but the logout sound doesn't.

Same problem here. Sound worked well in Feisty. I have AC'97 audio controller.
