In your debug log, I'm seeing a number of "No address associated with hostname" errors. This typically indicates a DNS problem.
A couple of things to try to resolve this:
* Check /etc/hosts to see if there's any malformed entries.
* Switch to a different DNS server
* In Network Manager delete your connection and recreate it (this resets all the connection settings.)
Geary today doesn't handle connection errors very well. We have that ticketed here: redmine. yorba.org/ issues/ 5281
