- If the user hits the cancel button on the unsaved changes dialog, currently the changes-pending flag is cleared and the user can navigate away. Just double-checking that we want that behavior.

-----In 3.6.1, the options are "leave" or "cancel" when a user attempts to navigate from the holdings editor without saving. In this context, "cancel" should retain the edits and the holdings editor tab.

- The item alerts, notes, and tags dialogs do not display existing values attached to the item. Is this intentional? Otherwise, that's a regression from the AngularJS volcopy editor.

----- I was actually about to report this as a bug. Existing alerts, notes, and tags should display it the holdings editor, otherwise, they cannot be edited or removed. Note that existing alerts do appear from Action menu - Edit Item Alerts. I was about to start the research to report this. (https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1843087 may be related)

- As a point of clarification, how are item templates supposed to be created? Create a new item, save it as a template, but don't save the item?

-----Item/Holdings templates should either be created from the holdings editor, template tab or from Admin-local admin -- Holdings template editor. You no longer have to create an item to create or edit a template.
