Copy alert counter in Holdings View doesn't reset after you delete a copy alert

In web client 3.1.13. I added a test copy alert and saved the item. The count for the number of alerts went to 1 in Holdings View and Item Status list view.

I then cleared the copy alert. Returning to Holdings View, I still see a count of 1. The same is true in the list view of Item Status. I refreshed the screen, logged out, cleared the cache, but the counter never reverted to zero.

When I changed to Detail View in Item Status, the Manage button is grayed out as I would expect.

In both List View in Item Status and Holdings View, the Manage button is still active. If I click on it, I get a pop-up window for Manage Copy Alerts, with no alert in the window. Screen shot attached.

What I expected: the counter would reset to zero and the Manage button would become inactive.

From my testing, the alert counter doesn't remove any deleted alerts, so it isn't just that it doesn't rested to zero. If you have 2 alerts and delete one, the counter still records 2 messages.

Still seeing this in 3.8. The counter doesn't update when alerts are removed but does when alerts are added. If an item has 2 alerts and both are deleted, count is remains at 2. If another alert is added, count moves to 3 even though only 1 alert
