There is no error message; it just doesn't suspend the hold. The clerk read through this email, and confirmed that she is entering the date in the correct format.

The suspend activation works on the place hold screen, but you cannot go into a patron account and suspend the hold from there.

This is a feature we use quite often for placing holds for our book discussion group. We will select three months' worth of titles and suspend the dates out to arrive in a timely manner for each month's discussion.

Hi Ron,

I don't have a 3.0 test server available at the moment, but I'm unable
to replicate this behavior on a server running 3.1. Is this happening on
the place hold screen or somewhere else? If it's on the place hold
screen, did you enter the date in the following format: MM/DD/YYYY? Is
there an error message that appears when you try to set the activation
date?
