Deleting an item while in Serials Control View does not update the basic summary display in tpac. When the fix for <a href="https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1078593">bug 1078593</a> is in place, we will be able to work around this by deleting the issuance, but I expect many users will just delete the item with the expectation that the summary statement will update.
