thanks lot. Mr. Marcel. I'm not able to give You a more detailed debug-info concerning the problem.

I've contacted the hotline from 1und1.de: they don't give support for linux and webdav. But it seems, that there is
+something wrong in their implementation. May be, they need to much time for creating and changing directories: there is
+a time-gap, where no instructions will be taken (it is well shown, if the dav-disk is mounted local).

(disk in cloud, probably without costs): duplicity works well.

May be I will check next release of duplicity with 1und1.de...

Ah, just saw the comment with version 0.6.14 :( Almost not possible at
the moment. There's no FreeBSD port for that version. As the server is
more or less production environment I cannot compile without any
package/port manager. I'll have to set up a test box for that.

Will do that in the next couple of days and will let you know if version
0.6.14 resolves the problem.
