I just committed a fix for this bug but I have no way to properly test that it is now working.
The app now tries to auto-resolve a proxy by rejecting any response that is not HTTP status code 200 and iterating through the available predefined proxy domains.
Also, I added a search settings page where you can explicitly select a proxy from a predefined list. This will turn off the auto-resolve feature.
It'd be great if you could test that it now works on cellular and wifi as well.
