No results from search

Installed DowNow on my Mako.
It runs but if I type anything in the search box, no results appear.

Does this search thepiratebay or something?

Yes, it searches thepiratebay.
Looks like thepiratebay has been down for some time, but now it's back up. It seems to be working now.
Does the problem persist?

I get no results because tpb is blocked by my both my home ISP and the cellular provider.

Perhaps the app could allow the user to pick from a list of tpb mirrors, or allow the user to manually input a different url.

If you could tell me what HTTP status code you're getting in response, I could automatically go through multiple predefined proxies until I get an OK response. I read on Wikipedia that apparently tpb is blocked by 27 countries and I don't think the average user should be even aware of this.
I'll also add a settings page where you can override the proxy url.

Thanks so much for all your help.
I just committed a fix for this bug but I have no way to properly test that it is now working.
The app now tries to auto-resolve a proxy by rejecting any response that is not HTTP status code 200 and iterating through the available predefined proxy domains.
Also, I added a search settings page where you can explicitly select a proxy from a predefined list. This will turn off the auto-resolve feature.
It'd be great if you could test that it now works on cellular and wifi as well.
