Are you sure it worked in 0.46.1? I don't believe I have made any code that could handle gimp tool windows correctly. There's a major flaw in the autohide implementation right now, windows that are not listed under any applications in dockbarx will be ignored. That's good for "windows" like panels and the desktop but bad for free floating toolbars.
