Yes, this has been bothering me for a while, but I have had to prioritize other features and won't be able to implement it anytime soon. If anyone wants to give it a shot, go ahead :)

Just one thing, I don't think the most frequent apps should go on the sidepane. Instead, we have been meaning to remove the "side pane" altogether, leaving only the search bar, categories and control center on that side area.
