The timing of this matches an outage we had at the time. If so, there are two possibilities:

1) The scope locked up because the store was not accessible at the time, or
2) Due to the outage the purchase ended up in an incomplete state (ie. our store didn't get the acknowledgement from paypal because of the outage)

Please check (1) and if it's still inaccessible, we can find, check and update the purchase manually.
