1. Perhaps click-and-dragging in the View Image window in case it's too small to display the whole image (see the attached picture) should change the mouse pointer to "hand" and scroll the view: aiming at the vertical and horizontal scroll bars (outlined in red in the picture) and dragging them is rather a slow and awkward process.

2. Double-clicking should perhaps either:
a) Close the View Image window, since double-clicking on the image in the book opens it, or
b) Toggle the "Fit image" checkbox (outlined in blue), since the View Image window can be closed with Esc.
