This is a known issue, and it is because some flash players don't create a temporary flv file in /tmp.

It does not work for any web sites because flash-plugin now deletes Flash files after they are downloaded. (Linux processes that have opened a file can still use it after it is deleted.) The file is in memory.

To recognize Flash files, Caffeine can use

 lsof -n | grep Flash

and

 /proc/<processid>/fd

I've removed the Flash support: it's far too much special-case code to support a dying proprietary program.
