Hi Vincent,

I am using Windows Vista 64. I did have the http_proxy env set, but just 5 minutes ago I discovered that one must also have https_proxy set correctly. I figured this out when I saw some other users mentioning that this is needed. So it works great now!

Sorry to have placed my comments here too quickly. This appears to be perhaps an issue only with the tutorials, or the context in the error message, although I don't claim to have read as much as I should have in the docs at this point.
