Bug Description

linux 11.10 python2.7.2 monkey 1.9.0.0. have just installed over an older version i had downloaded from the ubuntu Software center. This latest i had to download make and install.
Studio opens .ui files okay, but whenever I open a python .py file, it closes. Could not quite make it out because of my color scheme, it was white on yellow, but i think it had said something about an error with tools.

I will wait a tad to see if you have any suggestions, then will try the latest 1.9.0.2.

Hi,

I don't have suc problem, but i already see some crash in C++ due to qscintilla lexers.
Most likely it's a qscintilla bug.
Please try to give us a trace so we can inspect it furver.
In the main time, please try to update your package to the last one.

About your scheme hint, u may try to temporary rename the $HOME/.Monkey Studio IDE folder and start mks and check if the crash still occur.

It's not useful sorry :/
Maybe you can try to attache the incriminate python file so i make a try.
You can also give more informations about your system:
- Desktop
- Version (including 32 or 64bits)
- Qt version the mks is linked to
- QScintilla the mks is linked to

Thanks,
