Bug Description

Does not want to upgrade to 12.04.

Got error message on top bar of screen with red circle and white cross line.
I am not able to diagnose further.

There is an old version of adobe-flashplugin (10.0.32.18-1jaunty1) installed on your system.
Could you remove it, try the upgrade again and tell if it helps.

Thank you for the info:

I performed the following:
removed Adobe Flash-plugin 10.0.32.18-1
installed security updates
installed 12.04 LTS upgrade
the upgrade hung on downloading printer items from sourceforge.net
rebooted and lost internet connectivity, including wired and wifi
performed partial upgrade
rebooted and completed process successfully. wired and wifi working

I am impressed with diligence. Hope this helps a little. I am mostly an
end-user who just likes Linux.
