Bug Description

If don't add empathy -h as startup application empathy doesn't connect to ICQ after login. And in the account setting window status is set to offline.

Just add ICQ account and relogin. After login Gtalk and Jabber account are online but ICQ is not. I use pidgin with another ICQ account to check my ICQ empathy status.

Then open Edit -Account. ICQ status is offline, and you need select available status again.

Yes, I'm using Gnome Shell 3.4.1
But after your message I tested it in Gnome-classic and Unity and got the same behavior

Seems problem is in gnome online accounts. If you turn off chat in google account icq will start to connect automatically.

If you turn off chat in google account in gnome online accounts icq will start to connect automatically.

I have the same issue on "People Nearby" account. I'm using gnome shell. Disabling Google in "GNOME online account" don't help.
