Bug Description
On an install of the Lubuntu Pangolin beta, the package modemmanager is missing from the default loadout. This causes networkmanager to be unable to manage mobile broadband connections. There should be enough room to install modemmanager considering Lubuntu still includes a basic games package in its .iso.
Anyway, manually installing modemmanager in synaptic lets networkmanager to handle mobile broadband connections. The thing is, an "average user" might not have the foresight to install this tiny package and thus could end up in a sudden bind when their mobile broadband connection never becomes available. It could also cause trouble if a user is doing an installation where mobile broadband is the only form of internet connection available. In such a case, modemmanager is impossible to install because the network connections that depend upon it are unavailable.
