Bug Description
Binary package hint: kopete
Feisty's Kopete 0.12.4 still does not adequately adress the problem with the formatting toolbar in chat windows: When opening a chat window for the first time, both the main and the formatting toolbar appear. When you deactivate both, close the chat and open a new chat window for a different contact, the formatting toolbar reappears.
I am rather sure this is fixed upstream, however I can't find an URL with more details at the moment...
To reproduce this:
1. Start Feisty's Kopete, set up an account (I can only test this on Jabber)
2. Double-click on a random contact to open a chat window
3. Disable the toolbars either via menu or right-click
4. Close the chat. Re-opening it shows that on a per-contact basis, the settings are memorized.
5. Open a chat window for a different contact. Observe the formatting toolbar re-appear.
6. If this time, you remove it (again either via menu or right-click), it is again only memorized for *this* particular contact.

I haven't tried this in feisty, but the bug is certainly present in edgy. Confirming.
