Bug Description
HP Omnibook 6100, trying the Feisty pre-release. Often when starting up I get the Ubuntu logo and progress bar. It gets to about 1/8 a long and then freezes forever. More often than not it won't freeze but the computer will just turn off instantly. Only way I've found to recover it is to keep trying, sometimes unplugging it from the mains (leaving the battery in) and leaving it for several minutes it might decide to start working again.
I don't know how to help with this one, can ony say that Dapper and Edgy work OK with it. After this error occurred I booted in to Knoppix and zipped up /var/logs so I could attach it here, it's all I can think of doing and I hope it helps.
