Razor tool doesn't always cut

Sometimes the cut tool doesn't cut a clip first time. You have to move the razor left or right a few pixels and try again.

Strange. Could you provide us more explanations on the condition that you have meet at this occasion ?
Type of files,.........
And what are your version of MLT ?

libmlt2 0.5.4-1

I have observed it with mp4 and avi files.

I am trying to cut exactly at the head. Perhaps that is relevant.

I hesitate to give you like advice to upgrade at the last 0.7.6 of MLT. This serie (i.e. 0.7.x ) brings a lot of regression.
MLT seems to not recognize/find the Key image.
Is it always when you use all avi and mp4 files or just some files which provides of the device ?

This happens to me too, has always done since I started using OpenShot, and up to now with 1.4.2 and a recent MLT (think it's 0.7.6, but I don't have it with me now). At least with mp4 and avi, don't use much else.

Could you try to use gdb for having a backtrace ?
