Bug Description

Just downloaded 11.10 to my system. Now it freezes regularly as though it is confused and then will not do anything. Can only force a shut down and reboot. At this point, I want the 10 version back.

So what do I do now? I can use my machine. It took me 3 rebots to get this
far...and thank God for my cell because it froze again. How do I get version
10 reinstalled so I can work from my laptop? Thank you for your help.

Adolph Montini, thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. Oneiric reached EOL on May 9, 2013.
