Critical Wacom tablet glitches (0.48.2)

Hey guys,
                 earlier I downloaded the just released 0.48.2. Basically I got out my Wacom bamboo(pen&touch) to do some work and I experienced critical errors*. If I use the tablet at all the program goes haywire*. It was initially noted when I attempted to use the calligraphy/brush tool. Afterwards I experimented with other tools and got the same result.

I've re-installed and everything like that but it keeps happening. It seems it's a glitch with how the programs interpreting the tablets commands. I've never had any trouble in the version 0.48.1 so I'm not really sure what's up.

*Hard to explain really but I'll give it my best shot. Essentially if I use the circle/square tools, the object extends beyond the canvas into infinite as far as I can tell. If I use the calligraphy/brush tool the strokes do not appear at all then all other actions(tablet or otherwise) glitch. If I press 'ctrl + right click'(moving the canvas) objects disappear and sometimes all items disappear and the canvas gets stuck at one of the axis(x/y).

Changing status to 'Confirmed' based on new duplicate (bug #858593 - using Inkscape with Wacom tablet on WinXP 64bit Service Pack 2).

All issues reproduced on Windows XP, Inkscape 0.48.2.
All issues fixed with trunk revision 10957 (devlibs r27).
