I have been investigating this issue and I think it is a multiarch problem. The architecture of your machine is amd64, but Skype is a 32bit only application, so it needs a 32bit version of sni-qt. sni-qt and its dependencies needs to be made multiarch friendly. This means fixing the sni-qt and libdbusmenu-qt2 packages as well.
