Bug Description
When a bug is reported on a particular product, distribution, or package, its bug contacts are indirectly subscribed.
When the bug is marked Invalid for that product, distribution, or package, its bug contacts should be unsubscribed the same way.
This would eliminate a lot of unwanted mail -- for example, messages to the launchpad-bugs@ mailing lists about bugs that weren't anything to do with Launchpad, and messages to the ubuntu-doc@ mailing list about bugs that weren't anything to do with the Ubuntu documentation.

Sounds like a good idea, as long as the email goes to the right bug contacts as soon as the bug is reopened on a particular task.
