Perhaps only implicitly subscribed groups should be unsubscribed, and the rejector implicitly subscribed (but not the whole team), to ensure accurate feedback in the case of submitter responses to the rejection. My experience is that submitters will comment about the rejection, but not set the bug to a non-rejected state.
