Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Recent update-manager in Oneiric shows a unity progress bar, however it doesn't go away when the upgrade is complete, which is confusing and obscures the icon. It should only be shown when there is progress to report.

Very simple patch. I haven't technically tested it yet because I don't have any upgrade to apply right now, but it should work :)

Reproduced locally. Also, when there's no package left to update, the counter should be hidden rather than displaying 0 like other launchers do.

Updated patch per comments to hide when count==0.

Sorry for confirming myself. I wanted to put it to triaged (which is correct I believe since there was a patch) but I'm not bug-control. What is the proper procedure in that case?

Just had another batch of updates roll in, and was able to verify that both aspects of the patch work as intended. The counter is now hidden when there are no updates that are installable, and the progress bar disappears again once installation is complete.
