Bug Description
Binary package hint: network-manager
Ubuntu 11.04, network-manager 0.8.3+git.
I have shared my connection using NetworkManager (IPv4 Settings -> Method: Shared to other computers), however this is not working.
I have attached related parts from syslog with NetworkManager's debug enabled.

Seems to be because new dnsmasq (2.56+, http:// www.thekelleys. org.uk/ dnsmasq/ CHANGELOG) checks if there is junk on its parameters and NetworkManager is sending bogus conf-file. cgit.freedeskto p.org/NetworkMa nager/NetworkMa nager/tree/ src/dnsmasq- manager/ nm-dnsmasq- manager. c#n278
Related part from nm source: http://
Also I tried to run dnsmasq without bogus conf file and with, here are results:
juho@juho:~$ sudo dnsmasq --keep- in-foreground in-foreground --conf-file /tmp/sdfsdf.conf
^Cjuho@juho:~$ sudo dnsmasq --keep-
dnsmasq: junk found in command line in-foreground --conf- file=/tmp/ sdfsdf. conf
juho@juho:~$ sudo dnsmasq --keep-
dnsmasq: cannot read /tmp/sdfsdf.conf: No such file or directory
juho@juho:~$
