Bug Description
Using the natty alpha2 candidate version:
- open the dash or any place view
- select the search entry widget
- hit the "esc" key on your keyboard
What happens:
there is a square char with "001B" square added to the search entry
What should happen:
the dash screen should close.

I would think it's rather a bug in nux.
