Bug Description
I've been using my desktop with a dark GTK+ theme, and I've noticed that gEDA only partially respects its color settings.
See the attached file for an example: the toolbar is light gray, when it should be the same black as the menus. The same with the separator at the immediate left of the File menu.

I also use a dark theme, and I don't have the problem shown in your screen-shot.
Is it possible your theme is buggy, or that you have a gtkrc file which overrides settings for gschem? Do toolbars in other apps (e.g. gedit) look OK?
