I think it should be fixed in Qt 4.7.1, but I haven't verified it yet.

We still have to provide a workaround for Ubuntu 10.10 users though, unless
we find out that 4.7.1 is being pushed out through the Ubuntu updater.

We should try to confirm that trunk works well with 4.7.1 on OS X and
Windows too.

No regression in Qt 4.6.2 (Ubuntu 10.04) with Tobias's changes. Building in a 10.10 VM now.

I got white background (just like with the library before the patch) when going fullscreen both on MacOS 10.6.5 and Ubuntu 10.10 with latest trunk. MacOS is QT 4.7.1 / Linux s 4.7.0.

The library colours look fine though.

Jus: same happens or me in Ubuntu 10.04, but I think that's related to the fullscreen bug (Bug #669628)
