Its ok. I fixed it by removing fglrx and using open drivers

Still, the error could benefit from being fixed.

(drizzle, btw in the future if you're only interested in getting help working around issues, it's better to seek technical support via askubuntu.com or ubuntuforums or similar, as you'll get quicker response. Here in the bug tracker our focus is specifically on making Ubuntu better.)

Out of curiosity, how are you achieving your triple head configuration?

ok - got another failure while installing fglrx and now x is not working
with all 3 mons - should have copied xorg.conf when i had the chance

is the patch checked in to the repos?

bryce - just want to let you know that the latest fgrlx install worked AND i
have all three mons in multi-display desktop without xinerama with qt apps
working!!!!!! :)

This bug affects Ubuntu 10.10, Maverick Meerkat. Maverick has reached end-of-life and is no longer supported, so I am closing the bugtask for Maverick. Please upgrade to a newer version of Ubuntu.
