Please could you check if this behaviour is still affecting you using latest release 2.32.2-0ubuntu2? Thanks

I just experienced this error with 2.32.2-0ubuntu2 on Ubuntu 10.10. I used to get this error frequently with previous versions, but just now was the first time that I have experienced it with this version.

I experienced this bug again just now. I think that I can trigger the bug if I follow this procedure:

Load gwibber from the Indicator Applet
Type something in another program window whilst gwibber loads
Wait for apport alert to display.

In this instance, I selected gwibber from the Indicator Applet, and then was typing in a terminal whilst gwibber was loading up. I then received an apport alert for this bug stating that gwibber closed unexpectedly.

I can reproduce this error consistently by following the above procedure.

This bug was fixed in the package gwibber - 3.0.0-0ubuntu2

---------------
gwibber (3.0.0-0ubuntu2) natty; urgency=low

  * debian/patches/better_input_handling.patch
    - Don't set editable until the input is exposed (LP: #647406)
    - Added optional content arg to GwibberPosterVBox, so consumers of the
      API won't need to override the expose event to insert default
      contents (LP: #739923)
