gwibber crashed with AttributeError in set_overlay_text(): 'InputTextView' object has no attribute 'pango_overlay'

Gwibber crashed as a result of my clicking on "Messages" under broadcast under the "Envelope" notifier (social menu?). I did change my system wide proxy settings to "Directly Connected" just before selecting the "Messages" on the drop down.
