Bug Description
Binary package hint: ejabberd
`apt-get purge ejabberd` does not remove /var/run/ejabberd. In my case I had a ejabberd.pid file belonging to root in there, which triggers all kind of errors but not "pid file belongs to wrong user or cannot write pid file", probably got created by me executing wrong commands. However, a purge/install should reset the situation to normal.
