Bug Description

Hello,
We just had the case where an employee requested 3 weeks of holidays. System should have removed 3x5 days = 15 days of vacant holidays but it removed 19 days...

I don't think this is the normal behaviour to have .. or maybe something's wrong in my company definition ?

Problem here is that in 5.0 there is no way to define calendars. That is...
you should have the possibility of defining your company working days.
Normally not only weekends are not computable like holiday days but also
national, local and personal free days.

On the other side, there is factories and companies that work on weekend or
people turn their time scheduler working in the night or having for free 3
days for each 10 days worked. Things like that are not filled on 5.0.

I think OpenERP SA is working on this feature for 6.0 but I haven't
evaluated yet.

Hello Arnuad and Ana,

This is really a useful feature.

If I understand correctly, the calendar has to be employee-wise or group-wise.

Employees who do Night-shifts, have different calendar. Employees working on weekly-off system (like any telecommunications company) will have dynamic definition of calendar as they don't have a certain day off. They can have any day off within a week.

We would appreciate your suggestions here.

Hello,
In my case, we are working on 'standard' schedules : from monday to friday an week-ends off. So If an employee woul'd like to take 3 weeks holidays, we've to enter 3 lines (one line for each week and from monday to friday). If an employee has to work, for exemple, on week-end, he receives 'compensations days' which are notifed as -1 days.
