Bug Description

Binary package hint: kcm-touchpad

The values of the Circular Scroll Delta (30 to 300 in the widget) are outside the permitted range (0.01 to 3 as par the touchpad.h file). So the circular scroll never get activated.

The range in the ui are from 30 to 300. It should be from 1 to 300.
The value from the ui should be divided by 100 to meet the valid range from 0.01 to 3.0.

This new version of the patch correct initial load of kcm-touchpad to set the correct value in the CircScrollDelta parameter on the synaptic touchpad.

If I do the circular scrolling movement with my finger, the cursor doesn't move (meaning it detected the movement correctly), but there is no scrolling in the underlying window.

There is a bug report on this issue in launchpad, with an included fix:
