Bug Description

I attempted to purchase and download an album from the Ubuntu One Music Store. If it's relevant, the album was Alestorm - Black Sails at Midnight. None of my purchased songs are able to download as the status is permanently stuck at "Transferring to your Ubuntu One storage". I've tried letting the client sit for quite awhile but no progress is ever made. Please see the attached screenshot.

Here is the output of "u1sdtool -s"

State: QUEUE_MANAGER
    connection: With User With Network
    description: processing queues
    is_connected: True
    is_error: False
    is_online: True
    queues: IDLE

Here is the output of "u1sdtool --current-transfers"

Current uploads: 0
Current downloads: 0

I should also add I can see the files on the Ubuntu One website. I'm just unable to sync them down to my computer.

Updated again for my terrible punctuation and spelling mistakes.

I got help with this. Rye in the #ubuntuone IRC channel discovered that this was indeed a new bug and will be fixed shortly in an update. There's a work around for now.

To "Unstick" music purchases:

1. Create an empty file called "placeholder" in ~/.ubuntuone/Purchased\ from\ Ubuntu\ One
2. Shut down syncdaemon with u1sdtool --quit;
3. Start syncdaemon with u1sdtool --connect ;
4. Wait for files to arrive

gorkon: Can you see your purchased songs in your Ubuntu One storage at https://one.ubuntu.com/files ?

Gorkon. In IRC sign into the Freenode server and go the the #ubuntuone channel. They're very helpful and you could possibly help them to find and take out this bug.

gorkon: If you can see your purchased music at https://one.ubuntu.com/files then it's just a problem with sync. We're doing some infrastructure improvements b/c of the huge number of new users from the launch of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS so this is a bit expected. Matthew: We are going to re-run the script to grab the remaining files from 7digital and transfer them to Ubuntu One. If the script is ready by Monday, we'll run it then. Sorry for the delay.

This still isn't working consistently for me and I am seeing new bugs being filed with the SAME issue. This really needs to be fixed. I can gather debug info if someone cal walk me through it.

I have a similar issue, bought Millennium by Killing Joke a few weeks ago and it hasn't even got to the transferring to music store stage yet, Just sticks at "Queued" for a while, then "There was a problem completing the download. Try downloading again." I've bought things through the store before, the suggested option of contacting 7-digital support has resulted in no response at all.

If you are having problems with purchases not downloading to your computer, running the following may fix this issue.

    u1sdtool --rescan-from-scratch

Sorry, I forgot it needed your volume_id:

For me it doesn't seem to get as far as the transferring to the cloud stage, so there is as yet nothing to download.

For me, the purchased file showed up in ~/.ubuntuone/ after I forced a

I got this problem with two songs - the download status keeps at Queued and then becomes "There was a problem completing the download. Try downloading again.". Nothing is shown in the web or in the hidden
