Profile information being cut off on Members tab

RT #78677: Profile information being cut off on Members tab
Profile information for users on the Members tab in communities is getting cut off, sometimes by just a letter or 2 (see any members page, for example: https://karl.soros.org/communities/board-orientation-2010/members). Is there a way to get the full profile information to appear without messing up the formatting on the page? It looks very strange to have "Open Society Instut" or "Latin America Progra". What are our options to deal with this?

Alas, Nat, this was the decision we made way-back-when on formatting this. There isn't really a better solution. If we wrap, then we'll push text out of the bottom.

I'm going to mark this as Invalid as it isn't really a bug (as it does what we were told to make it do.) But if you come up with an alternative on how to display the "cards", let us know.

point about how wrapping the text would push things too far down the

Some suggestions:

1) Like other places in the site, chop off with ellipsis and use
mouseover to show the full amount in a tooltip.

2) Make the squares look more like cards, and provide a little zoom
button on the card that pops up more information in a popup, rather
than leave the page.

Both good suggestions! I really like the zoom idea. I'll talk it over
with the team when I get back to the office and we'll see what people
think...
