Greetings,

                  Thanks for your reply; I now believe the fault is with
Linux and not NOTEEDIT as it crashes when Print or Print Preview is
invoked in other Music notation programs.

I have installed Noteworthy Composer in Ubuntu .04 using Wine and it works
well after a few fonts are modified ; I installed it in Ubuntu 9.10 and
the fonts are correct but no sound, so I am sticking with Ubuntu 8.04.

Same here. I am running Kubuntu 10.04 beta with noteedit installed. Output of uname -a
Linux 2.6.32-16-generic #25-Ubuntu SMP Tue Mar 9 16:33:12 UTC 2010 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Also, I think this might be related to interfacing with lilypond as the "Export to Lilypond" for a page in landscape orientation doesn't work. If I edit the *.ly file and move the "\paper {...}" attribute from the bottom of the file to just after the "\version {...}" then and only then will I get landscape oriented output.
