Tasks Emailed to RTM do not sync with Astrid

Bug Description

Tasks that are emailed through to RTM do not sync back to Astrid.

In other words, tasks that are marked as "Sent from: Emailed in" in RTM do not get synced back to Astrid.

An update on this... When "emailed in" tasks are prioritised, they are synced back to Astrid.

Setting the priority when Emailing the task in does not solve the problem.

It seems that one has to actually edit the task in SOME form or another on the website in order for it to be recognised by Astrid.

Sending the Email task with a due date/time seems to work when syncing back to Astrid.

This sounds like an RTM issue, specifically that RTM may not be sending me new tasks when they're created by e-mail. Otherwise, not sure why Astrid doesn't see only those specific tasks...

I have tried to sync "emailed in" tasks with priority and/or due date without success. I have sent the same email several times to RTM and only one of these identical emails was synced to my phone.
Is there any reliable workaround?

I am afraid not.

I ended up purchasing an OVERPRICED Pro account, and I am using the RTM
Android app. After about a week, I must say, I miss many of the features
that Astrid has, and I will probably go back to it.

In that case, I'll just have to avoid Emailing tasks and wait for a fix.
However, it seems that the bug I logged has been bumped right down the
priority list. :(

I have updated Astrid February, 25th and I made several tests with "emailed in" tasks.
So far I was not able to reproduce the problem any more.
