Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
Created original user in UNR 9.10 with username administrator and real name "Someone & Someone else".
The login screen is expected to show the real name "Someone & Someone else". Instead, the login screen confusingly shows the real name as "Others..." initially (tooltip is "Log in as administrator"), then on mouseout the real name changes to "(null)". There is still another option on the login screen that is also labelled "Others...".
I created subsequent users but they failed to even be listed on the login screen after the incorrectly labelled "Others..." option.
Installed UNR 9.10 on two netbooks and problem occurred on both. Suspected the ampersand in real name was the culprit, and removing this character proved to be a successful workaround for all above login screen issues.
All updates have been applied to UNR 9.10 installation.
