Bug Description
Binary package hint: gdm
The GDM greeter will crash (and be respawned indefinitely) whenever the GECOS-field of an entry in /etc/passwd contains an '&'-sign (ampersand). Attached is the output from /var/log/
The system is Ubuntu 9.10 Desktop/AMD64. The GDM version is 2.28.1-0ubuntu2.
